August has arrived with continued sunshine and warmth, an abundance of homeless dogs and cats and the change of scenery here at the Ft. Lupton Facility. As we continue to work effortlessly on every detail to make sure our precious rescues are safe, cared for, processed and adopted by the best of families and environments we sole heartedly ask for your continued support, donations and patience. There will be a special adoption event for Dogs at Hero's Pets in Littleton. It will be from 10 am to 4 pm. If you have been considering adopting a new family member, please stop by and see the dogs that are in need of a new home. Location: Hero's Pets, 8086 Bowles Ave. Unit N Littleton, Colorado, Time: 10am to 4 pm.
Volunteer Opportunity - Labor Day Weekend. During Labor Day weekend, we will be particpating in the Taste of Colorado as a fundraiser. We will be staffing a Beer Booth all four days of the event and we need volunteers. Since we all have a secret desire to be a bartender, here is your chance! The event is Friday September 3 - Monday September 6. Each shift is 4 hours long and the shifts start at 10:00 am until 10:30 pm. Since it is a beer booth, all volunteers must be at least 18 years of age. This is fun way to help the animals.
