“Grateful Dog” Donates pet masks

Owners of The Grateful Dog pet boarding will donate three pet oxygen masks to Greater Brighton Fire. The three masks that are being donated are of three different sizes for use on various sized pets. The masks can be carried on a fire apparatus and will be available for use on pets in suffering from respiratory distress and smoke inhalation.

Prior to this generous donation our firefighters were unable to appropriately administer oxygen to a pet in need. Now, however, the masks will be available for use whenever the need arises.

The masks will be delivered by Mike & Heather Hathaway from The Grateful Dog to Brighton Fire Station 51 on Tuesday, December 7th around 1 pm.
